Clonlea Yoga Studio was established in 1990 by Hanne Gillespie. Initially located in an extension to her family home, it has since developed into a purpose built building. There are currently twelve practitioners who teach regular classes and others who use the studio for specific workshops. It is situated in a tranquil environment in Blackrock, County Dublin.
Clonlea Yoga Studio aspires towards being a receptive and responsive environment. As the inhale and exhale of the breath, it lives through an ongoing process of exchange.
Clonlea Yoga Studio has evolved out from the Viniyoga approach. While many of the teachers have trained in and teach Viniyoga, the studio has grown to incorporate other approaches.

Through the development of complementary interests among the individual teachers and the involvement of teachers from other inspiring backgrounds, the studio has grown out from its roots. The community of teachers now offers a variety of harmonious approaches towards strengthening the relationship between mind and body.
