Anyone is welcome to this group, particularly those:

  • Who feel disconnected from their body.
  • Who are experiencing chronic stress/anxiety/depression/exhaustion.
  • Or, recovering from, or experience ongoing illness.

No previous Yoga experience is required; however, participants who are currently undergoing physical or emotional trauma may further benefit from having an ongoing therapeutic relationship outside the yoga class.

Roisi has practiced yoga since 1987.

To support her work with teaching yoga to groups and individuals, Roisi completed, in 2012, a Higher Diploma in Communications, Parent Mentoring and Relationship Mentoring/Counselling, through University College Cork.

In 2017 she began an introduction to Trauma Sensitive Yoga, TCTSY, (with the Trauma Centre in Boston); which she continues to study in 2018/2019. Roisi works in private practice, with groups and individuals, as well as in Mental Health Services in Dublin. In her approach to teaching yoga she values the importance of creating an atmosphere for emotional safety within relationships.
